Ditch the perfectionism.


Often when we know we have to do something, we will put off doing that thing until we can do it perfectly.  I know that this is something I have been guilty of too many times to count. 

It might be comforting or disturbing to consider the fact that even what you consider “perfect” isn’t actually perfect.

So go ahead and take the step.

Instead of waiting until you have an hour to go to the gym, go for 20 minutes.

Instead of waiting until you have a whole day to clean the house, clean for 15 minutes.

Instead of waiting until you lose the 15 pounds to dress in clothes you love, embrace who you are right now.

Instead of waiting to launch that website you’ve been working on for months, just start posting.

No, it’s not perfect, and it never will be.  So what are you waiting for?
